Hiiiii. I'm interested on roleplaying in Dreamwidth, and I've found a few useful guides, but I don't know exactly how and where to start anyway. It would be appreciated if someone could take my hand and guide me in! I'm interested in roleplaying Game of thrones or what we do in the shadows mainly, but I like sooo many other things anyway. Okay, that's it. Brief post.

Hi, I'm an exrper who was in the hobby a long time! bakerstreet is a place to start low-stakes rp and finding acquaintances. Are you familiar with journal norms on the site? Generally, you will have most the most success if you set up one journal per character, with 15 icons of that character emoting to respond with. It's a good idea to put a little info post in your journal too, with stuff like the name of your canon (some people won't know even big properties like the ones you mention) and basic facts about them like their age. There's popular templates people use to do this, I can dig one up if it's helpful.

AWESOME, AWESOME. I mostly rp on discord and I used to rp on twitter so I know the basics of how to rp? I'm still blind to dreamwidth journal rules -- I heard of bakerstreet! and Ive also heard of the icon rules in each post, ahdhsdjkda. Is there a site where I can get templates to do this with? thank you, by the way!!!
